They set the vibe for every hike! Passionate, friendly, and always up for an adventure, our Hike Leaders bring people together​ and keep the Columbia Hike Society moving. With them, every outing turns into a real shared experience.

Leading the journey is Tarek Zeidan, one of the region’s most trusted hike experts. With over 15 years of experience guiding adventures across the GCC, Tarek has built his own hiking club in the UAE, championed the Mountain Kneisseh Adventure Club in Lebanon, and founded HappyNas, a global initiative that combines exploration with giving back through rehabilitation programs. His mission: to inspire people to step outside, embrace nature, and find purpose in every adventure.
